Two days left until I have my answer.
The question: Is it possible for me to find Zen in 30 Days?
Unless I bump into some guy named Zen in the corner store in the next few days, I will assume the answer is no.
I do feel better though, minus my back from the fall, and my pride from the fall.
My older shirts fit.
I am sleeping better and longer.
I feel more rested in the mornings.
I feel calmer in the evenings.
I can only assume that with a serious change in lifestyle, to include diet, exercise, meditation, reading, and writing, that I will find it. And not some random guy with a wife beater in a convenience store with Zen tattooed on his knuckles.
I finished Prey.
It was the first book I have read cover to cover in more than a decade.
It took my mind off of stresses more than I would have ever imagined.
Writing does that too, and I am still actively writing short stories and a few novellas while writing this blog. Not at the same time, that would be even more impressive.
I know it’s different for everyone, so finding the keys to your Zen state will take trial and error as well. I can only hope that my blog has helped you to either start or add to your daily activities to clear your mind, to find peace in this world.
My current meditation is 432 Hz Miracle Tones – Raising positive vibrations. I love it, absolutely love it.
It’s simple.
It’s calming.
So, with two posts left, I will sum it up for me.
Writing. Reading. Meditating. Diet. Exercise. Smelling the roses. Planting the roses.
Those are the keys to finding myself on the plain of enlightenment. A place where I can find complete peace in my life, in a world without peace.
Until tomorrow, and hoping I don’t run into the wife beater wearing prison escapee…
